The hours they provide for working clients is ideal as well. No need to request time off from work because they are there M-F till 7:30pm and have Saturday hours too! I have not had to take time off work to have my dental needs met. Afinia Dental is a must. From the initital consultation I was hooked. State of the art facilities and procedures -- digital xrays, crowns produced on-site, laser cleaning etc. I left my dentist of 25 years permanently after discovering the caring, expertise, fairness and overall "treatment plan" approach that was laid out for me on my first visit. Dr. Killgore's availability (office hours, e-mail etc.) was such a refreshing change from the M-F I had worked my life around prior to Afinia. His staff and assistants work as a 'dental team' with the patient their number 1 priority.
I have had the following dental procedures completed with 100% satisfaction:
Cleaning
Filling
Crown (Multiple)
Root Canal
Tooth Extraction
Whitening (in progress)
Fitting for a implant
All of these procedures were done with my comfort as #1 priority. I have literally not felt a thing!! Whatever I needed to make me comfortable was provided for - prior to the visit, during the procedure, and following - whether that be thorough consultation, referrals of other patients, pain medication or simply very very kind staff there to 'hold your hand'.
If you are new to the area, looking for a dentist that will work around your hectic schedule not vice versa, or have children that vanish at the mention of dentist, Afinia and Dr. Killgore are a must. Pay them a visit and see for yourself!!

My family has all seen Dr. Shaftel in the past but 1 week ago my youngest daughter had broke her 2 front baby teeth on the playground. I called the office and he told us to come rite over. He explained why the teeth needed to be ecstracted to me. My daughter did not even feel him numb up the teeth and didn't even flinch when he removed them. He has always been gentle but I was so impressed how he handles kids. What even made Dr. S stand out was that he called later that nite to check on her and said if I have any questions to call any time 24 hours a day because the call would be sent directly t his personal cell phone. I am soo grateful he is my family's dentist.

I have been a habitual dentist switcher over the past few years since my dentist of 24 years retired. From the very first minute I stepped into the office Dr. Shaftel made an effort to come into the waiting room to introduce himself. The office is beautiful and high tech. With this technology Dr Shaftel was able to show me my Xrays and photos on a large computer monitor in the room. He answered all my questions and spent 15 minutes on the most thorough exam I have ever had. He encouraged me to ask questions and wanted to make sure I understood the treatment that I require. The office staff and insurance specialist were very friendly and knowledgable. I feel so comfortable being seen by Dr. Shaftel that I know I have a dentist I wish to stick with and finally end my search.

I had a toothache begin on a Friday night. I called the office early the next morning and Dr. Shaftel told me to come right over. Even though they had patients already scheduled they fit me right in. The assistants were very nice and they kept asking if there was anything that they could do to make me more comfortable. Dr. Shaftel personally explained the options and showed me the x-rays on the TV screen in the room. I wanted to save the tooth but I was told I needed a root canal. I have never had a root canal and horrible expectations popped into my mind. The doctor assured me that there should not be any pain while he was working and insisted I tell him if there was. I am not sure why people have horrible stories about root canals because this was only a good experience. There was no pain during the root canal and after leaving the office the pain was a 1000 times less than when I walked in. The office even had a beautiful tooth colored crown ready 3 days later for that tooth. I was very thankful that Dr. Shaftel stayed after office hours to help me and even called later that nite to check on me.
